“Oooh something smells good!” “That’s those shredded pork sandwiches and bars the Redeemer youth are serving up at the Food Stand on Main Street between American Bank and Di’s Designs.” After the Dane Shoot has ended the Food Stand will move and Linda Wasmoen will be coordinating it through the remainder of the afternoon, during the parade and Teen Dance, until the Fireworks start. Pepsi products served.

RLC Youth to Hold Rummage/Bake Sale - July 19th, during Alden’s citywide garage sales. We are looking to the congregation for rummage sale items. Please be courteous and donate clean saleable items - not junk. Rummage sale donations may be dropped off at the church office now thru July 11th. We have some wonderful bakers in our congregation, so if you are willing to provide a bake sale item, please call the office. Funds raised will go toward youth events, including our 2009 NYG (National Youth Gathering) trip.

Good Earth Village Summer Camp

   Good Earth Village welcomes your children!!! GEV has welcomed children into their camp for many years now. It is an awesome experience for all ages with many activities such as singing, swimming, camp fire cook outs, devotions, games, team building and Faith-filled studies and discussions in the majestic rolling river valley of Spring Valley MN. Depending on the ages of your children, they could stay in a modern log cabin, rustic hilltop cabin, live in covered wagons or live at an outpost!

Now is the time to reserve your child's place at GEV camp and take advantage of several discounts. Early bird registration ends March 15th; having your child's registration in by this date makes your child's camp up to $50 less !!

There also is a NEW discount offered this year. The “Bring a Friend Discount”! If your child invites a child who has not participated in GEV camp, your  child will be eligible for another $50 discount per friend. There is no limit on the number of friends you could invite. If you do the early bird registration and the invite one friend prior to the March 15th deadline, your child would have up to a $100 off their camp fees!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is also a Sibling discount of $25 for week long camps.

Were you aware that camp is open for all children ages K-6 without having to stay over night? New this year is Adventurers camp. Camp takes place at the village from 9am-4pm and allows the kids to have all the camp experiences without the stay over. What an awesome way to introduce camp to those that have not been away from home!!!!

GEV camp is open to all children K-12. There are so many opportunities to for your children to have sing, have fun, build new friendships and worship in the beautiful camp tucked away in the hills by Spring Valley MN. Please take some time to check out all the camps offered and register today! Campers who are members of our church are given some financial assistance to attend.
